Module D is fascinating because in a few short weeks, you learn to play 7^th chords freely in your songs with good voicing handshapes in the left & right hands.

In Solo Piano, you need to study the following 4 areas: Melody, Harmony, Rhythm & Bass Lines. Module D will develop your piano skills in all these 4 areas. You will understand the importance of the 3^rd & 7^th tones that define the quality of a chord. You will learn how to form all 12 Major 7 Chords, 12 Minor 7 Chords, 12 Dominant 7 Chords by EAR without the need to refer to any chord charts when you play your songs.

Once you understand some music theory & polychord structure, you will be able to apply the 4 different positions of 7^th chords to your playing without long struggles of finger exercises. Trust me. It took me 10 years to find a short cut to help students to learn the 7^th and 9^th chords in an effective and fun way that keep their motivation high. Once you learn some piano tips and thumb tricks, you will advance quickly to get beautiful color tones into your playing. You will be able to take out a fake book and play song after song without the need to look up chord charts and to apply good piano techniques to play songs on the fly with good sounding voicings.
